About
At My Core
"Take care of the Earth and it will take care of you," were the wise words of my grandmother nearly 40 years ago. My family always lived by this belief and set the example for the rest of us.
We are all dependent on one another for our existence. The simple act of letting a dandelion grow provides food for wildlife and pollen for our honey. It is my wish to inspire more caretakers for our world.
Photography
Images are created with Nikon, Minolta, and iPhone cameras. Lenses are Nikon (105mm Macro, 24-70mm, 70-200mm, and 200-500mm), Sigma (28-80mm Macro), and Tamron (28-105mm). Lighting equipment includes the Godox V860III (N), Smith Victor, and Bower.
Background and Present
I have a degree in History and a minor in Media Arts (film, video, photography, and screenwriting). My travels have taken me around the world from North America to Eurasia and Africa.
Currently, I am being mentored in wildlife photography by Michael Dikovitsky, a National Geographic contributor. I am also rebuilding my portfolio after a fire and hope to travel the world again.
